Many extended health plans offer partial or full cover for counselling services provided by a Registered Social Worker. Counselling services provided by a Registered Social Worker are GST and PST exempt and are now included in the medical expense tax credit (METC). https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services. Official receipts for both health insurance and tax purposes will be provided after each session.

Fees charged are consistent with BCCSW professionals with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and the BCACC counselling costs. Rates vary depending on session length and counselling format as well as for specialised treatment services and consultations.

**I appreciate advance notice if you are unable to attend a scheduled Therapy appointment. To avoid being charged for a missed session I require a minimum 24-hour cancellation notice.

Payments are made at the time of each session.
